Transfers at Naples Airport

Rental Cars – Most of the car rental companies at Naples Airport are located out of the terminal, but there are a few within the terminal as well. A complimentary shuttle collects car rental customers from outside the arrivals area to the location, which is only a minute or two from the terminal building. All car rental companies have their vehicles parked here, including those that have their desks in the terminal. Shuttles depart every 10 minutes from morning to evening all days of the week.

Buses – Alibus provides a daily airport shuttle service between the airport and Naples City. The bus stop is located 50 meter in front of the terminal building. The fare is 5 € and it takes approximately 20 minutes from the airport to Garibaldi (Central Station) and closer to 40 to the Port. Shuttles run from early morning to around midnight.

Taxis – The taxi rank for the official and licensed taxi cabs is located outside the arrivals area. Official and licensed taxi drivers will not approach travelers, but will wait in their vehicles at the taxi rank. The system is a first come, first served queue system. It is recommended to ignore or kindly decline an offer from an approaching driver as they are not licensed and tend to charge a lot more for the same ride. It is also worth remembering that insurances usually don’t cover any costs that occurred when using a non-licensed taxi.

Shared taxis offer a flat rate and fixed routes from the airport. The shared taxi rank is located approximately 30 m in front of the terminal’s arrivals area, across the street from the regular taxi rank and then a short walk. Trains – There is no train station at the airport, but there are plans for a metro line to come into operation in 2024. Naples has a metro system with two lines and Naples Central Station (train/rail) offers rail connections with major cities such as Rome and more.

Smoking at Naples Airport

It is prohibited to smoke inside the airport. Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside the terminal.

WiFi at Naples Airport

Free WiFi is offered at the airport through the network named “naples_airport”. After choosing the network, open the browser on the device, insert the requested information and choose to connect.

Check-in at Naples Airport

The airport houses 55 check-in desks dedicated to the airlines present at the airport. The check-in area is on the ground floor of the terminal and monitors will indicate which check-in desk serves which flight. Counters open at least 2 hours prior to departure.

Fast Track at Naples Airport

Naples Airport offers a Fast Track service to all travelers. This can be purchased for 6 € online or for 7 € in the automatic pay station located on the first floor. The dedicated Fast Track lane is not always open, but when it isn’t the service will be managed in a “skip the line” mode at the dedicated Family Lane where an airport representative will give priority.

VIP Lounge at Naples Airport

The airport has a public VIP Lounge, Pearl Lounge. For the fee of less than 35 € for an adult, travelers can relax and refresh in a modern and tranquil environment while waiting to board their flight. Access is granted for up to three hours during which time delicious snacks and a range of drinks are offered and can be enjoyed. The VIP Lounge has a buffet area and a business area and more.

NAP has a wide range of shops to offer both visitors and travelers. Some are found in the shopping arcade found in the public area while others are found in the shopping arcade found after the security checkpoints.
