Flight Arrivals at Naples International Airport

It is always a good idea to know a few things about an airport the first time arriving there, and there are always a few things travelers are wondering about. We have listed some useful information to know about Naples Airport. Before proceeding to exit the airport, please make sure all personal belongings have been collected.

PRM Assistance at Naples Airport

Persons with Reduced Mobility or a disability may request assistance for the flight and their time at the airport. This should be requested through the airline at the time of booking or at least 48 hours prior to the departure of the flight in question. The airline is responsible for notifying the involved airports of the details when needed.

Transfers at Naples Airport

Rental Cars – Some of the car rental companies at Naples Airport are located in the terminal building, in the arrivals area, while others are in a location outside of the terminal. Complimentary shuttles transfer the car rental companies’ customers from the terminal to the location. This transfer includes all companies’ customers as the ones located in the terminal have their vehicles where the other companies are located. It is recommended to have the vehicle booked in advance. Buses – A scheduled airport shuttle service is provided by Alibus. Buses depart from a bus stop located just past the shared taxi location, 50 meters down the road from the arrivals area. Buses depart from early morning to around midnight all days of the week and the fare is 5 €. Buses stop at the central train station as well as in the port.

Taxis – The official taxis are licensed and operate a flat rate system and they can be found right outside the arrivals area. It is advised to not accept rides from other drivers, some might approach travelers, as they are not licensed and therefore they tend to charge far more for the journey, nor do insurances normally cover something that occurs when using unlicensed taxis.

Shared taxis with a flat rate and fixed routes are located just past the regular taxi rank (across the road and along the road leading away from the airport terminal. The flat rate is 6 € per person, all passengers will be given a receipt before departure and the taxi departs 15 minutes after the third passenger has arrived. Trains – Naples Airport does not currently have a train or metro station, but there are plans for a metro link to be in operation in 2024. Naples Central Station offers train connections with many major cities in Italy, including Rome. It is reachable through the Alibus airport shuttle that stops close to the train station, or via taxi.

Tourist Information at Naples Airport

A Tourist Office (Ufficio Turistico) is located on the ground floor in the Arrivals Area. It is open from 9.00 AM to 7.00 PM on weekdays and from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM on weekends. See a selection of tourist attractions in and around Naples.

The airport offers free unlimited WiFi service to all visitors of the airport. Connect to the network named “naples_airport”, open the browser on the device, insert the requested information and choose to connect.

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside.

There are AMTs/cash machines located in the arrivals and the departures areas of the airport.

No currency exchange services are currently available at the airport, but there is a Forex Exchange located at Naples Central Station.

The airport’s first aid service is located in the departures concourse and it offers assistance 24/7. Ask staff for support when needed.

Food and Beverage at Naples Airport

Naples Airport has a lot of options for having something to eat and drink after arriving at the airport. A café and an authentic Neapolitan pizza place can be found in the arrivals area, while there are other establishments located in the shopping arcade and a café next to the car rental area.

Shopping at Naples Airport

While there are no shops located in the arrivals area there is a shopping arcade located on the first floor pre-security, available for all visitors of the airport.
